Once we reached the park, music was keeping us stepping and we were in the midst of all of the others workers. The park was great, not only beautiful but sunny and peaceful with ducks wassling, folks walkking the perimeter, some stretched out in the grass relaxing.

This is our group all ready to work

We ended up with more *handa* on our backs, not original issue,
and for some reason, matches the house paint!

You don't see the sweat involved here!
We had a great time, will do it again next year!

Meet The Wogans

So, as promised a few days back, I bring you the Wogan Family, near and dear to my heart folks for several years. Grandfather Jamie lives with his chocolate lab *Moose* in East Grinstead, sons Daniel and Duncan have now married (Alison and Sarah) with children Madeline and *sonogram*, we will fill in that blank in some months ahead. You can see them all in the pictures with Madeline below.

I also promised a story about Alison, Madeline's Mum!!

I first visited in the winter of 1997 . Jamie, Moose, Daniel and Duncan were still under one roof. To say it was a highlight of my life was an understatement as I, to this day, recall the enchantment of the Wogan household. At that time, Daniel and Alison were dating and she came down to visit while I was there, told me of Ashdown Forest. I had read some of the Pooh tales, and thought them to be pure A. A. Milne fiction, no idea that there was a point of reference and many truths!
We traveled from East Grinstead to East Sussex, about an hour South of London to many of the enchanted spots where Winnie the Pooh and Christopher Robin found adventure!! Alison told me the story of Poohsticks as we stood on Poohsticks Bridge. We selected sticks and tossed them in, running to the other side! To make the event more exciting, it was a rainy day at the end of several rainy days and Ashdown Forest had a muddy bottom in many places. Jamie and I were prepared if for no other reason, we had on *sensible* shoes of the older generation, so we really paid little attention to our feet, were all caught up in marching through the forrest, expecting to see Winnie pop out!! Alison won my heart that day as I looked down to see she had on dress sandals with mud covering her feet, her shoes, and portions of her legs.... she had not complained once and was content to show and tell of this delightful place in the woods!

THANKS ALISON! I want to come back with my grandchilden one day, and hope you will lead the adventure again. If I can't do that, I can at least tell them about it.. and the Wogan's.

(PS...I have learned that my memory is not serving me well. Jamie tells me , and sent a picture, that Alison had on sturdy boots! Where in the WORLD did I get this from? Was I dreaming? Hopefully Alison can help me out here! Who knows, it might be another great story to tell!)

~ANOTHER GRANDBABY~

Speaking of sonograms (and I was, just yesterday), allow me to introduce the newest grandchild of our family friend, Jamie, from across the waters. (he and his family really are more family than friends, so their JOY is our JOY!)
So this is new baby, will be a first child for Sarah and Duncan, a second grandchild for Jamie, and maybe a boy, as his first son Daniel and wife Alison , have an adorable bundle named Madeline. Come back tomorrow, I will let you meet Madeline and tell you a delightful story about Alison!

Sit right here Grandma~

I was trying to get a picture of Papa John and Carter since they had not seen each other for a year. Carter started this motion, would not look at the camera (cheese), and we finally figured out what he wanted. At least this is what I want to think he wanted.
I jumped in the spot he was patting and Jen took the picture. (THANKS)

Humor Me~

If you are reading this, you already know that I have an obcessive compulsive disorder concerning cameras and grandchildren. If the back of their head is all I can get, it is what I take, and love it just as well as the front. I think this is due to the fact that all of my grandchildren are across the country, except for Sky (who I get LOTS of sugar from every Sunday in Church,) and Lacey, who has not arrived yet (have faith). This is the most recent of Braydon, Tyson, and Kayleigh. Stay tuned for more.

It's Saturday!

It is strange how the meaning of the word *saturday* changes over the years. I am still in my lazy tee and it is almost noon. I may have to eat lunch and take a nap, it's a hard life!

Meachamania

We had to eventually join in the fun! I thought we were done when personal web sites got old. (we still have one floating, I can tell the age by counting grandchildren, 2 never made it, and the last one entered was entered by his Father, not me)

SO... blog it is, we surely enjoy reading, so it is only fair to join in the writing.

Just looking around here, where are the instructions??

Tyson is SEVEN

Tyson is the TONKA truck guy! He loves them! His Dad did too, drove them a million miles in the dirt drive moving all things from bricks to plants.

What a great SKATEBOARD, too cool!

A little extra about Tyson too, he is the heartwinner. He has a special way with females, especially Grandma's and GreatGrandma's that always leave them feeling especially loved!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TYSON!!

Brenda is SIXTY

If I didn't do another thing for this occasion, this scene would have been enough to make me smile for a LONG time. We went to Rodizios Brazilian restraunt with Ranes, Heather, Braydon, Tyson, Kayleigh, Marty, Jen, Addison and Carter. We had a great meal complete with the Brazilian Band singing in their langauge, *Happy Birthday*.
Prior to that we went with Ranes and Family to the International Peace Gardens, incredibly beautiful, then Marty and family arrived, we went to Children's Museum, another total treat for a Grandma, and lastly to Build-a-Bear, where we got to see how Bears are built by children!
What a SUPERB Birthday Celebration!
A highlight of our vacation and a very spiritual time as we all went in to the Chapel of Transfiguration.....all sat down as they arrived, simply looking out the large window behind the alter, seeing a spetacular view of the Grand Tetons. Someone began to softly sing *Amaxing Grace*, another joined in and before the first verse ended, all were singing.  It was such a peaceful time of communion with nature and man.
I can't even describe it with words, just look!
John and I took an organized vacation with the local TV newscaster, Art Myers and his wife DeeDee.  It is advertised as such, so folks feel comfortable going as it is not only endorsed by the celebrity, but he and his wife were with us from start to finish.
We flew out of Tallahassee, landed in Chicago, visited Navy Pier~toured Chicago the next day then boarded an Amtrack train to ride up through Illinois, crossing the states below Canada to Montana where we began a bus tour down through Montana, Wyoming, Idaho and Utah. It was a 10 day trip, included *Going to the Sun Road*, Glacier Mountains, Yellowstone Park, Old Faithful, and the watery trail that Lewis and Clark took through the mountains~ we saw what they saw~ it truly did appear that the mountains had a *Gateway* and opened up for the boat.
Our last stop was Salt Lake City where we got to spend some time with the Grandchildren.
It just doesn't get any better than that!!!

Addison is 6!!

This is perhaps THE most incredible picture I have seen of a little girl holding a baby. The expression is beyond comprehension other than the fact that she is REALLY enjoying this baby!
It looks almost surreal if you didn't know that Addison is a real person and that is a real baby!

Not sure, but I think this might have been a Birthday Picture!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY ADDISON!!!
