Sky Goes To WORK!!

She spent the morning cleaning this chamber,
getting it stripped and prepared for the next patient!

Naturally she wanted to get IN with the door shut!
(not keen on that myself)

She was a great help actually!
THANKS SKY!

Winter Wonderland!

We can only dream about the snow! To be sure, those in snow are dreaming about the shore! Maybe the snowbirds have it right, come South for the Winter, back North for the Summer. How about the sledding, snowmen and the picture postcard view! Then how about the bright sun on the sand, the shells, the waves? Time and Tide~ and to everything there is a season~

Thomasville Christmas Day

As has been the tradition my entire life, the Dekle bunch gathers for Christmas Day to enjoy each others company, feast, fellowship and play! As a child the gathering was held at my Grandparents, now is at Uncle Waymon and Aunt Carolyns since my Grandmother passed away in 1987. Seated here is my cousin Janice, her husband Randall and son Michael... Then cousin Johnny with his daughter Niki and Granddaughter Brittany!

The only two girls of the Dekle Clan, Thelma and Lois!

Uncle Waymon has a g.r.e.e.n. THUMB!!
His Satsumas are the most delicious in these parts, shown here are his Kumquats!

Carolyn found an extra tie that we could not identify!!
Creative solution!

My Mother, Thelma and I

T.R (cousin Cindy's husband), Aunt Carolyn and Papa John!

We got into the fun game of racing to open a package... that is NOT unwrap friendly, expecially with gloves on and others about to take it all away from you when they get doubles!!
MERRY CHRISTMAS ALL!!

Carter Christmas

After all of that cooking, Kayleigh serves, and serves...and serves!
She was in her best Chef mode, had no Chef hat so made one of her pajama bottoms~ works!
(remember pour pour pour?)

Kayleigh's Kitchen!! she cooks and cooks~ and cooks~ and serves!!!

Braydon in his animated excitement~

Tyson does TRUCKS! Big ones, little ones, emergency vehicles, construction trucks, he can operate them ALL!

Waiting for *the word* to come downstairs!
Has Santa been?

My best guess for this scenario is that the boys had to make their beds before they could come downstairs, Tyson is completely done and Braydon is just starting!

Of course Dad had to help Santa complete the work!

Check out the grin!

This is a HUGE gift Heather!

There you have it~ two estatic boys with their new TV for their room!

Live Scenes, The Life of Jesus

This event, sponsored by a local Church, was totally incredible! It was a *drive through tour*, with music (real voices), different scenes depicting actors playing the parts representing the birth, life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. I've never seen or heard anything so magnificent! The human side was that it was freezing yet these folks continued to play their respective parts for the many cars driving through! It was so huge they had to have policemen at the entrance for crowd control! Sky was giving us a play by play (in the car) of each event, most captured here with exception of Jesus walking on water (in an actual pond, too far out to get a good picture)

Christmas Peace

Santa was at Sky's Church Christmas Program!
Mama Karen is out of the wheelchair, off the oxygen and enjoying the event!
Looking Good!!

Singing are MaryLou, Daniel, Sky, CJ, Becky, Morgan and Austin!
Afterward we had a nice reception, Sky and I made a special Christmas Cheese Ball!
(It was consumed fast)

Our Annual Luminary Drive favorite in Holly Springs!

Also an annual event is the drive through Flowers Baking Company display!
This is my personal favorite, especially the angels in the background.
It is not clear in a picture, but the actual scene is set to music and the angels in the trees
slowly light up, is an awesome sight.
