Shannon Graduates!!

In our typical Dekle fashion, Carolyn and Waymon Dekle hosted a family *Fish Fry* in their huge yard, full of most all southern flora/fauna and just a great place to get together! 

 Cousin Johnny has a BEARD! I think his wife, Linda,  likes it!

This is the family picture of the year. Thelma (mother of Windy and Brenda) and Aunt Lucille, (mother of Phil and Anna).  They share the same birthday although Aunt Lucille is a tad older.

My brother Windy and cousin Phil were born within 30 days of each other, then Cousin Anna and I were born within 30 days of each other!  What a time our parents had with us! 

This is a family connection as well as a Church connection. Carolyn and Paul Stanaland

 (Paul is my Aunt Carolyn's brother) and Carolyn's (Stanaland) sister Neyrone Campbell.

To make this more confusing, Carolyn Dekle (my Aunt) was a Stanaland! 

 Carolyn Stanaland married Paul Stanland, is that clear?

All three go to the same church that we (Mama, me, John and Sky and her Mama Karen, plus many of the Carter Family) attend.

Have you ever seen more beautiful smiles? This is Shannon with her sister Holly (both daughter's of my cousin Keith and his wife Debbie, I recall the day Keith was born, this is his almost grown children!) and Holly's boyfriend who has become a welcome part of our gatherings.
