Not to be confused with out Wedding Day (which the picure is) but our engagement day, which the day is~~ but not the day of our Marriage, which wasn't our Engagement Day OR our Wedding day.
SO, Papa John proposed on February 14th at the Battle of Olustee in Lake City Florida. That is a Civil War Reenactment, we were present, plenty of friends were there and insisted that we have a Victorian Wedding! Penny, our friend and a local Flower Shop owner (Southern Charm of course) ran right over to the sutler's and bought her a hat that I could borrow for the Wedding (and I am wearing it)
Strangely enough, our Marriage was April 1st, as we could not cohabitate until we married and the Wedding did not come as fast as our respective apartment leases ran out and we got a home for me and my two schnauzers and John with his schnauzer!
SO... with a Valentine's Proposal and an April Fool's Courthouse Marriage, we had the entire family from all over, down South for a September Victorian Wedding~ Cool Huh!
No Foolin!!!
